AT&T would be smart to not choose sides and offer the blackberry storm to their customers before their customers leave them. Like me! For me, it's a matter of organization and being able to sync my phone with my calendar for work and be on top of all of the meetings, tasks and etc. that I need to take care of. The iPhone, although sexy, doesn't offer that. Furthermore, I have an iPod, 30GB, don't need the iPhone.

well, since you're already gonna be on the data plan with the iphone i don't see where wifi is a big issue. with no wifi you can get longer battery life and i'd rather have pic and video messaging over wifi any day. GO blackberry!

Well the Verizon storm DOES have a sim card and that is how the storm could be consider as a "World Phone" collection. It is truse MOST of Verizon phones do NOT have sim cards since they are running off of CDMA net work and other carrier such as AT&T and Sprint runs on GDS this would be the reason why we can NOT "unlock" the verizon phones to use it for differnt carrier due to running on a different signal even after unlocking. Verizon Does have two other phones other then the Storm that does have sim cards and one of them are the 8800 series but AGAIN it would not work even if you CAN UNLOCK it since Verizon is running on CDMA and NOT GDS

AT&T better get the BB Storm. Many BB user like me switched to AT&T because they get the new BB stuff first. Now the hotest new BB phone goes to Verizon first. That is not right. I have the Bold but want the Storm. Maybe I will go back to Verizon, because I can keep my number.
As for the iPhone, great device but not business class. Can't: cut and paste, search emails, call for calendar request and on top of that no stereo bluetooth. Great brower though.

The AT&T and T-mobile reps will tell you the storm will be available in a few months just to keep you waiting. No one knows if it will EVER "officially" be sold for AT&T or T-mobile, however... where there's a will there's a way. I am currently using an unlocked storm with T-mobile. As long as the unit is unlocked the phone calls and sms will work with your sim card, but not internet and mms... same thing with AT&T For internet and MMS, I had to go to crackberry.com where someone has altered the service books for a t-mobile 8100 pearl to work with the storm. I think he charges 10 bucks for it now, but there's a forum thread on the steps for T-mobile and a sepereate thread for AT&T customers. With just a little patience, you can make it work. I know because I did! The downfall- the 3g for t-mobile is a different freq than Verizon, therefor the internet on a storm adapted to work with t-mobile can only be used with "edge". I'm not sure about 3g with AT&T, but I think I read somewhere the frequency for AT&T 3g and Verizon were the same. It's still an awesome phone, either way!

I have a blackberry storm, it's not all it's hyped up to be. This phone freezes so much and is really slow at times. I had to wait 3 months for the update to make it stop restarting everyday. I do like this phone though. An iphone would be nice but it's on AT&T and i just love verizon way to much.
